Darkness Into Light is a 5km walk which takes place at 4:15am on Saturday 9th of May 2026 and is Pieta's biggest annual fundraiser, proudly supported by Electric Ireland.

‍This is the most important walk of the year with hundreds of thousands of people across the globe coming together before dawn to walk into light.

‍ DIL Lucan takes place in St Catherine’s Park. We meet before dawn in solidarity for loves ones lost and to embrace hope for those in need of these vital services.

‍Pieta is 80% funded by public fundraising and rely heavily on your support.  No matter how small, every cent counts and goes towards extending their life saving services to everyone who needs them.
